We are looking for a Full-Time candidate in the Bath, Maine area. Hours are 7:00 am-3:30 pm. Why Wellness Workdays?   • About this position We are seeking passionate wellness professionals/ acute care provider/ to provide ONSITE triage/injury management and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our construction client partner.
You will promote a healthy culture and strive to engage employees in the company's well-being offerings. This candidate will serve as a wellness ambassador and role model.
Responsibilities and Duties NOTE:
You MUST be an EMT or paramedic with at least 1-2 years of experience and health education training. Constuction setting experience preferred.
  • Provide triage and acute services to various trades at a construction site
  • Provide one-to-one health coaching for employees
  • Lead stretch and flex warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
  • Work closely with safety committees, union representatives and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
  • Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities and challenges
  • Conduct in-person health risk assessments and biometric screens (training provided)
Requirements:
Exceptional interpersonal, organization, and communication skills required Ability to work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
Personal Trainer Certification or Exercise Science degree Experience with construction setting Trained to provide cholesterol and blood pressure screenings Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task Adept at counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds

Required:
BS Degree in Community Health Education or related field
Required:
