Availability This is a job, not a free-Saturday side gig. Our medics work multiple events a week and can commit up to 35 hours. If your season, class load, or full-time job leaves you with only occasional availability, this probably isn't the right fit right now, and that's okay. We're looking for people who are genuinely available to work and want consistent shifts. Pay & Perks $28/hr, W-2 employee (not 1099). Taxes handled, no self-employment headache. Up to 35 hours per week available Paid training. Get better at the job while you get paid for it. Full uniform, EMS bag, and gear all provided. Nothing out of your pocket. Liability insurance provided. You're covered under Smith EMS. Consistent events across sports seasons, tournaments, and community events. What You'll Do Perform real-time injury assessments and first aid on-site Make confident return-to-play decisions and manage care transitions Communicate clearly with coaches, parents, players, and event staff Maintain a visible, professional presence at every event Complete injury reports and documentation with accuracy Who We're Looking For Certified EMT or Paramedic (NREMT & Minnesota) Genuinely available to work multiple events per week, up to 35 hours Professional appearance, strong communication, and sports awareness Thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments Career EMTs, recent grads, retired medics, and firefighter candidates all welcome Why Smith EMS?
