- Job Overview Caregivers Inn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech to join our healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans using electronic health records systems such as Epic.
- Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks for patients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
- Support patients in home care settings, promoting independence and quality of life. Skills
MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
Certificate is required- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
- Experience in home community care or nursing home environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Pay:
$14.00- $16.
