This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings, including home community care and nursing homes. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans using electronic health records systems such as Epic.
• Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks for patients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
• Support patients in home care settings, promoting independence and quality of life. Skills

• MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

  Certificate is required
• Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices.
