  • Job Overview Caregivers Inn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medication administration, and ensuring that all medical procedures are carried out in accordance with established protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings, including home community care and nursing homes. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans using electronic health records systems such as Epic.
  • Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene tasks for patients.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
  • Support patients in home care settings, promoting independence and quality of life. Skills
  • MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
    Certificate is required
  • Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices.
  • Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Experience in home community care or nursing home environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to perform caregiving tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
