Full Job Description Overview:

We're hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you'll perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment while delivering exceptional patient care. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings, including pediatrics, the operating room, emergency services, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and outpatient procedures. This position also participates in a call rotation supporting multiple WakeMed locations. What you'll do Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, producing high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and radiation safety standards. Provide patient-centered care by monitoring patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout imaging procedures. Work across multiple clinical environments, including the Emergency Department, Operating Room, inpatient units, outpatient services, pediatrics, and portable imaging. Prepare equipment and patients for examinations, verify orders, prioritize workflow, and maintain accurate patient records within electronic systems. Inspect, test, and maintain imaging equipment while collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to support quality patient outcomes. Who you are Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT) or eligible to obtain registration within six months of hire. Previous clinical radiology experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of radiation safety principles and a commitment to delivering safe, accurate imaging services.
