The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. OB Technician Our OB Technicians assist the nursing and medical staff in providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in the Labor & Delivery setting. By supporting vaginal and cesarean deliveries, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the readiness of equipment and supplies, our technicians ensure our patients and newborns receive constant vigilance and clinical support. We view our OB technical team as a critical component of the care plan and recognize the incredibly positive impact they have on the safety journey and outcomes of our patients. - Assisting physicians and nurses directly during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Setting up and maintaining sterile fields with high precision for surgical procedures.
- Preparing delivery rooms and operating suites to ensure full procedural readiness.
- Performing surgical scrub duties calmly and effectively for C-sections.
- Stocking and maintaining all necessary clinical supplies, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment.
- Assisting nursing staff with safe patient transport, transfers, and surgical positioning.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and rapidly turning over rooms between patients to maintain infection control and safety standards.
- Supporting rapid-response emergency situations, including stat cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhages. This role might be for you if:

To be considered:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician or OB Technician program OR equivalent experience required.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Prior experience in Labor & Delivery or an Operating Room setting is preferred.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of obstetrical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control standards.
