With over 50 years of experience, we provide comprehensive, culturally competent healthcare that addresses the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community members through multiple clinic sites and school-based health centers. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Female-Only Health Screening Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will conduct specimen collections, for the same sex, with professionalism and compassion, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community health initiatives in a dynamic, supportive environment. Duties Perform court ordered UA specimen collection female patients. Collect biological samples such as urine, or other specimens following strict aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures. Manage specimen processing, labeling, and documentation in accordance with CLIA regulations and hospital standards. Maintain accurate data entry into electronic medical record system, eClinical works, while ensuring patient confidentiality at all times. Support laboratory management by organizing biological samples and maintaining proper sample storage conditions. Assist with patient education on procedures and specimen collection processes or questions with excellent customer service skills. Follow all safety protocols including infection control practices during clinical activities. Qualifications Prior experience in medical laboratory work or clinical laboratory settings, including specimen collection. Knowledge of UA specimen techniques and collection, preferred, but not required. Familiarity with CLIA regulations, laboratory procedures, and medical terminology. Strong understanding of anatomy and clinical confidentiality policies. Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments with a focus on patient care and client communication. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and biological sample management. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality while providing compassionate care tailored specifically for female patients. Join us to make a meaningful difference in community health! Pay:
