Job Description

We are looking for PRM EMT's who are experienced and passionate about providing compassionate, quality patient care to our clients. The ideal candidates are certified EMT's who partner with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others to provide physical and emotional support and provide as safe and comfortable an environment as possible.
Responsibilities:
Assess situations effectively and quickly to determine best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Communicates clearly and accurately with patients, families, and significant others to provide succinct information regarding care being provided. Behave as an effective leader and successfully assume responsibility for the scene and unit management as required. Drive ambulances. Work collaboratively in efficient and effective manner with all health and public safety personnel as well as fellow paramedics, EMT's, and management. Effectively treat injuries and illness. Communicate with doctors and other emergency medical personnel. Be a team player. Quickly assess situations and respond appropriately. Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers. Participate in community programs. Maintain Mercury EMS image and establish strong community relations.
Minimal Required Qualifications:
BLS, NREMT-EMT
Certifications or State of Ohio EMT License High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Valid State Driver's License Good driving record in compliance with company policy Be able to lift equipment and patients as required
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
