Duties Administer basic medical procedures including vital signs, medication administration, catheter care, and tube feeding in accordance with established protocols. Document patient information accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support nursing staff with tasks related to patient care plans, including monitoring symptoms and reporting changes in condition. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments in memory or hospice care settings. Maintain medical records meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and legal requirements. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care tailored to each patient's needs. Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation and record keeping. Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, catheter care, tube feeding assistance, and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward patients of all ages and conditions. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical information. Experience in dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice, or acute care settings is highly desirable.
