Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a PRN Patient Care Tech or STNA to our Kettering location! The Patient Care Tech or STNA provides direct patient care, assists physician and practitioners with patient care, administrative, environmental, and organizational tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets patients and assists with patient flow. Including rooming patients, collecting weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and escorting patients and managing the collection of specimens. Stocking exam rooms daily as well as between patients. Preparing exam rooms for procedures. Works effectively as a team member in the delivery of care and assists. Maintains good working relations with staff through appropriate communication. Be professional in appearance, attitude, and communication. Provide accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation, including preparing documents for physician signatures and managing incoming/outgoing fax. With specialized training and written approval, may perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned area. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Not applicable Required Education and/ or

Experience:

High School or Equivalent STNA Certification - must be a current Ohio State tested nurse aide 2-4 years' experience is preferred

General Skill Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with a Practice Management system is preferred. Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
