Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) to provide critical pre-hospital emergency care and transport for patients in urgent situations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency medicine, patient assessment, airway management, and critical care transport. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working in high-pressure environments, including trauma centers and emergency rooms, to deliver exceptional patient care and support life-saving interventions. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patient condition using established triage protocols Provide immediate medical care including airway management, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS) techniques Administer injections, medications, and perform venipuncture as needed within scope of practice Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans Utilize advanced physiology knowledge and medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams Operate emergency vehicles safely, adhering to all driving regulations while transporting patients to medical facilities Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety Assist in critical care transport scenarios, including Level I Trauma Center and Level II trauma center situations Document all patient interactions accurately and comprehensively in accordance with protocols Collaborate with hospital staff during patient handoffs, providing detailed reports on patient status and interventions performed Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and ready for immediate use during emergencies Experience Prior experience in hospital settings, emergency rooms, or urgent care centers is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in airway management, vital signs assessment, and critical care procedures Experience administering injections, performing physical examinations, and understanding complex physiology concepts Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure during emergency responses Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and medication administration protocols Valid driving license with a clean driving record suitable for operating emergency vehicles Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing or movement during emergencies Previous experience working within trauma centers or emergency medicine environments is preferred This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes.
