The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring that medical documentation is accurately maintained. The Medical Technician will work closely with patients to assist with their daily needs and support the healthcare team in delivering exceptional care. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Administer catheter care and tube feeding as required. Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff. Assist in acute care settings by performing necessary medical procedures under supervision. Support home community care initiatives by providing compassionate care to seniors in their residences. Participate in training sessions and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care. Experience Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, or assisted living facility is preferred. Familiarity with patient care protocols, medical documentation practices, and acute care procedures. Skills in catheter care, tube feeding, and other essential medical techniques are highly desirable.
