Job Description
Job Summary Seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented patient care technician to perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced clinic. The ideal candidate will support efficient clinic workflows, deliver compassionate patient care, and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA. Responsibilities Perform routine EEGs, QEEGs, VNGs, and cognitive assessments Administer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and peripheral nerve stimulation Ensure correct and precise electrode placement for accurate testing Manage patient scheduling and follow-up to optimize clinic flow Review and update medical documentation and care plans for completeness and HIPAA compliance Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and clinical staff Assist with other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred Experience with EEG, VNG, cognitive testing, or neuromodulation techniques is a plus Strong customer service and patient etiquette skills Ability to remain calm and reassuring with anxious patients and children Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Bilingual in Spanish preferred Skills & Physical Requirements Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for electrode placement Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and move or lift equipment as needed Comfortable assisting patients with limited mobility
