Job Description
Qualified EMT candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by candidate experience, certifications, market, shift, and operational requirements, subject to formal management approval. The Emergency Medical Technician field provider is responsible for the direction of patient care while operating in non-emergency and /or emergency modalities as a rescue unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and directives. The EMT-B leads, directs, and participates in the delivery of basic life support and participates in the delivery of advanced life support in a pre-hospital or facility situation. When operating as attendant- in-charge, the EMT provides direction to other crew members on patient care and medical issues. The EMT delivers emergency medical care to patients as indicated by medical control or patient care protocols.
