08/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Overview Adult Day Services and is responsible for performing tasks that support social, physical and cognitive functioning of adults with impairments under the care of Adult Day Services. Assists with activities of daily living, vitals, maintaining medical records/charts, assisting with nutrition and activity implementation. What you will do Assists participants with activities of daily living, to include toileting, feeding, ambulation transfer and mobility. Provides assistance with both groups and individuals in social/recreational activities and encourages participations throughout the day. Contributes ideas to the monthly activity calendar. Documents on Medicaid daily logs, participant progress notes and other required documentation. This includes staff daily reports, activity logs, incident reports, medication verification/administration and communication book entries. Monitor's client's diets and special dietary needs. Assists with both meal and snack preparation, serving and clean-up. Inventories and maintains equipment and supplies. Advises when items are needed to ensure adequate supply to meet operational needs. Maintains records of blood pressure, weights, meal temps, refrigerator temps, etc. as assigned. Qualifications Education Program Graduate, Nurse Aide Training or Certificate Program approved by VA Board of Nursing (Required) Experience 1 year Experience working with older or impaired adults (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Certified Nurse Aid (CNA)
  • Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Preferred) CPR/BLS Certification
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 60 Days(Required) First Aid
