Job Description

Come GROW with GATES! We are seeking a dedicated Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at Gates Prosthetics and Mobility Clinic in Mountain Home Arkansas. The ideal candidate will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring a positive experience for all patients. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk. Schedule and confirm appointments; manage the provider's calendar efficiently. Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally. Answer and route incoming calls; respond to voicemail and email inquiries promptly. Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and referrals. Verify insurance benefits and obtain required insurance documentation. Assist with new patient intake, including forms and documentation. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes. Handle co-pays, payments, and balance inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and waiting area. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare regulations. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance patient care experience Ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic Skills Desired but NOT Required Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and handle sensitive situations with compassion in a fast paced environment. Prior experience as front end administration in a healthcare office strongly preferred Prior health insurance experience Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a strong asset. Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm Friday 8am-2pm
