Job Description
Clinical Director — LPC-S Men's Residential Treatment Center | Cave Creek, AZ | Full-Time, On-Site About Soberman's Estate Soberman's Estate is a state-licensed, Joint Commission-accredited residential treatment center for professional men, set on a private five-acre estate in the Sonoran Desert outside Phoenix. With a 10-client maximum and more than 40 staff members, we deliver deeply individualized care for men ages 30-80 working through alcoholism, substance use disorders, and co-occurring issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. The Role We're seeking a seasoned, mature Licensed Professional Counselor with Clinical Supervisor credentials (LPC-S) to lead our clinical program. This is a rare opportunity to direct treatment for a small, high-touch caseload rather than manage volume — inside a full multidisciplinary team that includes a board-certified Medical Director, equine and meditation coaches, a nutritionist, and more. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise treating alcoholism and substance use disorders, is trained in neurofeedback, and has the presence and discretion to work with a high-profile, privacy-focused clientele. What You'll Do Provide clinical leadership and supervision for our therapy team. Design and oversee individualized treatment plans built on a minimum of three individual therapy sessions per client, per week Administer and integrate neurofeedback into client treatment plans Partner with our Medical Director and multidisciplinary team on comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ART, and more) Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and Arizona state licensing standards Carry a direct individual and group therapy caseload Support our weekly family education program What We're Looking For Active Arizona LPC license in good standing, with Clinical Supervisor (LPC-S) designation or AZBBHE-approved supervisor status Seasoned, mature clinician with a proven track record treating alcoholism and substance use disorders Neurofeedback training or certification (BCN or equivalent) Experience treating co-occurring trauma, anxiety, and depression Prior clinical leadership or supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting The discretion and polish to serve a professional, privacy-focused clientele Why Soberman's Estate A 10-bed maximum with 40+ staff means real clinical depth, not high-volume caseloads Work alongside a Medical Director board-certified in family practice, psychiatry, and addiction medicine Full suite of on-site modalities: equine therapy, labyrinth, zen garden, greenhouse, golf, swimming, acupuncture, and massage State-licensed, Joint Commission-accredited, BBB-accredited organization Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience To Apply Email your resume and a brief introduction to Mitch@sobermansestate.com, or call (602) 295-8013 for a confidential conversation.
