We are rapidly expanding our Arizona market with a focus on Endovascular Interventional Radiology and Vein Services. Cutting edge treatments from our Interventional Radiology Physicians include Atherectomy and Embolization. Atherectomies function to revascularize lower extremities and prevent amputations of feet or toes for patients that suffer from peripheral artery disease. Embolization Intervention patients avoid major surgeries such as Total Knee Replacement, Shoulder Replacement, Prostatectomy (men), Hysterectomy (women), Hemorrhoidectomy, Plantar Fasciitis Surgery, and more. My AIM Health is at the forefront of minimally invasive Interventional Radiology procedures using the latest technology to treat a range of medical conditions and issues. Overview:
The role of the Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk is vital to the success of the clinic. This position will undertake a wide range of tasks, most importantly, being the first impression of our clinic to our patients and assisting with scheduling as needed. This position requires strong computer skills, including the ability to work with medical software. Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of insurance plans, and the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized manner. Must be adaptable and flexible, willing to adapt or adjust to accommodate your team members and patients. The goal of this position is to ensure the clinic's operations will be running smoothly, effectively, and accurately to deliver maximum value to the organization and assistance to our patients.
Job Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED) 1+ years' customer service experience; in a healthcare setting preferred 1+ years' EMR systems and scheduling experience preferred 1+ years' knowledge/experience of medical insurances
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage clinic schedules to optimize capacity, ensure appointments are scheduled according to providers' treatment plans, and communicate promptly with patients regarding any additional information required for appointments. Enter and maintain accurate patient demographic information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Answer and respond to telephone calls promptly to establish, confirm, or modify appointments. Schedule patient appointments for consultations, evaluations, treatments, follow-ups, and re-evaluations. Greeting patients warmly upon arrival and obtain insurance information and other required documentation. Answer office phones and direct calls appropriately. Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately. Call and/or text patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and assist with scheduling off-site testing or services. Complete all required documentation in the patient's medical record in accordance with the practice's charting policies. Collect all payments due at the time of service, including co-pays, self-pay balances, past-due amounts, and payments for DME products. Respond to requests for information from patients, providers, and coworkers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Complete end-of-day reports and batches, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced prior to leaving each day. Provide patients with support, guidance, and assistance as needed. Work closely with the Front Office Manager and communicate any concerns or issues as they arise. Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming work environment at all times. Room patients and obtain vital signs when needed.
