Your responsibilities include:
Welcome patients with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service. Manage patient check-in and check-out. Schedule appointments, procedures, and diagnostic testing. Obtain and document vital signs, medication updates, and patient histories. Perform urine testing and other routine clinical support functions. Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR). Communicate patient concerns, clinical changes, and abnormal findings to providers. Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling and questions. Process referrals, recall reports, hospital follow-up reports, and patient communications. Maintain medical supplies and support daily office operations. Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care. We're Looking For Someone Who ✔ Enjoys helping others and making patients feel welcome ✔ Has excellent communication and customer service skills ✔ Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented ✔ Can successfully multitask in a busy medical office ✔ Works well both independently and as part of a team ✔ Takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care Qualifications Medical Assistant diploma or certification from an accredited program required 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred Strong computer and EMR skills Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine clinical and office duties Why AKDHC?
