Bauer Dental Center is looking for a Patient Advocate & Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique hybrid role for someone who loves connecting with people just as much as they love creating engaging content. Approximately 50% of this position is focused on patient advocacy, communication, and lead management, and 50% is dedicated to social media and content creation. You do not need dental experience or professional photography experience. We are looking for the right person: someone warm, polished, proactive, creative, tech-savvy, and excited to learn. The RolePatient Advocacy & Lead Management You will often be one of the first connections a new patient has with our office. Your job is to make that experience exceptional.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones and communicating with new and existing patients Managing and following up with new patient leads Building relationships with prospective patients and helping guide them toward scheduling Responding to patient inquiries through phone, text, email, and online channels Scheduling appointments and helping maintain a productive schedule Welcoming and checking in patients Collecting necessary patient and insurance information Following up with patients who have not yet scheduled Helping fill openings and keeping communication flowing throughout the day Creating a warm, organized, and elevated front-office experience Working closely with our Treatment Coordinators and clinical team to ensure patients have a seamless experience Lead management is a major part of this position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, building rapport, following up consistently, and helping prospective patients take the next step. Social Media & Content You will also work alongside our marketing team to keep Bauer Dental Center's social media active, engaging, and authentic.

Responsibilities include:

Help manage our social media accounts and content calendar Capture everyday photos and videos around the office Create short-form content, including Reels and Stories Edit simple photos and videos for social media Write engaging captions and social media copy Schedule and publish content Help respond to social media comments and messages Identify interesting patient, team, educational, and behind-the-scenes content opportunities Coordinate patient photo/video consent Help capture patient testimonials and before-and-after content Collaborate with our professional marketing, photography, and videography teams Help organize content from professional photo and video shoots so it can be used consistently throughout the year Stay aware of current social media trends and bring fresh ideas to the team Professional photography or videography experience is not required. We regularly work with professional photographers and videographers. We are looking for someone who has a creative eye, understands what makes good social content, and isn't afraid to pull out a phone and capture a great moment. You do not have to be the "face" of Bauer Dental Center or regularly appear on camera, although you are welcome to participate if that's something you enjoy. Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoy talking with people Confident and professional on the phone Creative and naturally interested in social media Comfortable with Instagram, Facebook, Reels, Stories, and short-form video Highly organized and able to keep track of multiple conversations and follow-ups Proactive rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and dependable Tech-savvy and able to learn new programs quickly A strong written and verbal communicator Comfortable switching between creative work and patient-facing responsibilities Someone who takes ownership and follows through Positive, polished, and team-oriented Experience Dental experience is NOT required. Experience in any of the following areas is helpful: Social media or content creation Hospitality / Customer service Sales or lead management Reception/front desk Marketing / Photography or video Canva or editing programs More important than your previous job title is your ability to connect with people, communicate confidently, stay organized, follow up, and think creatively.
