Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Experience delivering external beam radiation therapy to oncology patients Strong knowledge of radiation treatment planning and safety protocols Proficiency with linear accelerators and related equipment Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary oncology teams Compliance with all regulatory standards and facility guidelines
Responsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments under physician direction Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety checks Educate and support patients throughout treatment, providing clear explanations and reassurance Document all treatments, patient responses, and observations in line with facility protocols Collaborate closely with dosimetrists, physicists, and oncologists to ensure optimal care Monitor patient progress and promptly report any clinical changes Uphold the highest standards of infection control, radiation safety, and confidentiality Why Consider This Role?
