Flourish Airway Collective is looking for an exceptionally warm, organized, and dependable person to become the welcoming heart of our practice. This is not a traditional front-desk position. Our Patient & Family Care Coordinator will guide families through their Flourish experience—from the first phone call through treatment and follow-up. The right person will genuinely love connecting with children and their parents, take pride in remembering the little details, and make every family feel seen, supported, and confident in their care. At Flourish, we help infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with concerns that may affect their breathing, sleep, feeding, speech, dental development, and overall well-being. Our services include evaluation and treatment of tethered oral tissues, such as tongue-ties and lip-ties, as well as early orthodontic expansion to create more space for the teeth and tongue and support healthy airway development. Our work can be life-changing for children—and we want every family's experience with us to feel just as exceptional as the care they receive. What You'll DoCreate an Exceptional Family Experience Warmly welcome children and parents when they arrive Help children feel comfortable, safe, and excited to visit Flourish Build genuine relationships with parents and caregivers Anticipate families' needs and make each visit feel personal and organized Serve as a consistent, trusted point of contact throughout treatment Create thoughtful touches that make families feel especially cared for Communicate With Warmth and Confidence Answer incoming phone calls with warmth, patience, and professionalism Listen carefully to parents' questions and concerns Clearly explain what families can expect at upcoming appointments Become well trained in Flourish services, terminology, and treatment pathways Know when to answer a question, when to gather additional information, and when to involve a clinical team member Return calls, texts, and emails promptly and reliably Communicate in a way that is friendly, polished, compassionate, and easy to understand Coordinate Patient Care Schedule consultations, treatment appointments, and follow-up visits accurately Help families understand the next steps in their child's care Confirm that required forms, records, photographs, referrals, and other information are received Track outstanding tasks and follow up until they are fully completed Coordinate communication with pediatricians, ENTs, myofunctional therapists, speech therapists, lactation consultants, and other collaborative providers Prepare and organize patient materials, referral information, and educational resources Help prevent families from getting lost between appointments or stages of care Support the Growth of Flourish Maintain accurate, organized patient records and tracking systems Assist with correspondence, letters, reports, and follow-up communication Help deliver educational materials or thoughtful packages to referring offices and community partners Support outreach efforts and relationships with local healthcare providers Look for ways to improve the family experience and practice systems Step in wherever needed to help Flourish run smoothly and beautifully What We're Looking For An exceptionally warm and welcoming personality A genuine love of children and appreciation for the parents who care for them Experience working with children, parents, or families Excellent phone presence and confident interpersonal communication Strong attention to detail and an unusually high level of follow-through The ability to learn new concepts and explain them clearly Emotional intelligence, good judgment, and discretion A calm, reassuring presence when parents feel worried or overwhelmed Strong written communication and organizational skills Comfort managing multiple priorities without losing track of details Initiative and the ability to recognize what needs to be done Reliability, accountability, and pride in doing things well A collaborative, positive, and team-oriented attitude Comfort receiving feedback and continually improving Especially Valuable Experience We would be particularly excited to meet candidates who have: Worked in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, pediatrics, therapy, education, childcare, hospitality, or another family-centered setting Experience guiding parents through healthcare, educational, or developmental services Professional or lived experience that provides a deep understanding of the questions, emotions, and logistics caregivers navigate Experience with treatment coordination, scheduling, patient communication, or referral relationships An interest in children's breathing, sleep, feeding, speech, oral development, or whole-child health Experience with community outreach or building relationships with professional offices Dental experience is helpful but not required. Warmth, judgment, curiosity, attention to detail, and follow-through are essential.
