As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing their appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate records.Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments, managing the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally, directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate patient care and provide necessary information.
- Handle patient payments and maintain financial records accurately.
- Ensure the clinic's front desk area is organized and presentable.
- Consistently meet weekly metrics set forth by executive management team in order to facilitate patient compliance and patient attendance with prescribed physical therapy plan of care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service is a must, with a preference for healthcare or medical office experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health records systems.
- Bilingual English-Arabic is a plus
