M-F, 11am-6pm Make a Difference Every Day As a Field Site Coordinator, you'll provide critical leadership on the front lines by creating a thriving Club experience that empowers staff, engages families, and inspires young people to reach their full potential. You'll manage the day-to-day operations at Fleming Middle School, lead a team of youth development professionals, and coordinate impactful programs centered around our three core areas: Academics, Athletics, and Arts. Your leadership, strategic mindset, and passion for youth development will help create meaningful experiences that extend far beyond the Club walls. The Field Site Coordinator serves as a liaison between the regular school day, the after-school program, and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor, maintaining clear communication with school staff, students, families, and community partners while ensuring high-quality programming and a safe, positive environment for all youth. What You'll Do Lead a dynamic team in delivering engaging, safe, and high-impact youth development programs Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and community partners to strengthen collaboration Foster a positive Club culture rooted in respect, accountability, inclusion, and youth empowerment Oversee daily site operations, program schedules, attendance tracking, and compliance requirements Support staff recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and professional development Ensure alignment with grant objectives and reporting requirements Uphold all safety, wellness, and supervision standards for staff, members, and facilities Support efforts to achieve Club membership, participation, and engagement goals Maintain accurate program documentation and required reports Collaborate with school administration and organizational leadership to support overall site success What You Bring Bachelor's degree required; coursework in Youth Development, Education, Recreation, Social Work, or a related field is preferred Experience working with middle school-aged youth preferred Experience leading youth programs or out-of-school-time initiatives Strong leadership, team management, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with program evaluation and outcome measurement Passion for creating inclusive, youth-centered environments Bilingual skills and cultural competency are a plus Ability to travel between Club and school sites as needed Strong classroom and group management skills Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage youth in a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, school staff, and program teams CPR/First Aid certification (provided upon hire) Must complete all pre-employment clearances (see below) Pre-Employment Requirements All candidates must complete: Background check (including criminal history) TB test Drug & alcohol screening I-9 verification with original documents required What We Offer Employee assistance program Medical/Dental/Vision/Life insurance Employee discounts Mission-driven work with a long-term impact Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Onsite at designated work location (standalone Clubhouse or school site) involving indoor and outdoor activities Ability to push/pull, squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
