Join a leading Northern California hospital as the Perioperative Services Nurse Manager and help shape the future of perioperative care by building engaged teams and delivering outstanding surgical outcomes.
Joining as the Perioperative Nurse Services Manager means becoming part of a 150-bed, JCI-accredited hospital and certified Stroke Center. This organization utilizes advanced surgical technologies, invests in staff education, and is recognized for patient safety, clinical outcomes, and community engagement. The Perioperative Services RN Manager Outpatient will thrive in a collaborative culture that supports innovation, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement within a supportive, award-winning environment.
The Operating Room and Endoscopy Department is a fast-paced setting averaging approximately 40 cases each day. Primary service lines include high-volume endoscopy, total joint procedures, integrated cath lab services, and interventional radiology. The department also works closely with an advanced open-heart program and other general surgeries. This environment allows the Nurse Manager Surgical Services to lead efficient operations, precise surgical scheduling, and exceptional same-day recovery experiences.
In this leadership position, the Perioperative Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Nursing Surgical Services and leads a collaborative team of nurses. The department includes surgeons, anesthesia providers, technologists, and imaging specialists who work together in a fast-paced surgical environment. The Operating Room RN Manager mentors and precepts staff while maintaining accountability for clinical and service standards and aligning competencies with the daily case mix. The role also emphasizes optimizing productivity and staffing, strengthening regulatory readiness, improving instrument and workflow efficiency, advancing collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and fostering a culture of safety, inclusivity, and professional excellence.
