J Chiropractic Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator Foundations Chiropractic & Wellness -
Pleasanton, CA Pay:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
3-5 days per week

Raises, promotions, expanded responsibilities, and leadership opportunities About the Position Foundations Chiropractic & Wellness is a growing chiropractic, rehabilitation, and wellness practice looking for a dependable, personable, and motivated Chiropractic Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator. This is not simply a front-desk position. The person we hire will be trained to assist with patient care, corrective exercise, soft tissue techniques, patient scheduling, retention, marketing, and community outreach. We are looking for someone who wants to learn, take on responsibility, and grow alongside the practice. What You Will Learn Training will be provided directly by the doctor and will include: The Foundation 4 corrective exercise system The Prime 4 exercise and movement system Basic soft tissue techniques Proper use of the Hypervolt and other recovery tools Patient positioning and treatment-room preparation Guiding patients through prescribed corrective exercises Home exercise program reinforcement Patient scheduling and rescheduling Patient retention and follow-up systems Reconnecting with former and inactive patients Office marketing systems Community marketing and outreach events Representing the practice at local events and networking opportunities No previous chiropractic experience is required. We will train the right person.
Responsibilities Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Greeting and checking patients in and out Managing the patient schedule Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments Contacting former or inactive patients to help them get back on the schedule Answering phone calls, texts, and patient questions Collecting payments Assisting with basic office and administrative tasks Preparing treatment rooms and rehabilitation areas Assisting patients through Foundation 4 and Prime 4 exercises under the doctor's direction Performing instructed soft tissue techniques Using the Hypervolt and other recovery tools with patients as directed Reinforcing prescribed home exercise programs Helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the office Keeping treatment and rehabilitation areas clean and organized Assisting with social media and office marketing Helping organize and attend community marketing events Following up with prospective patients and existing patients Helping improve patient retention and overall patient experience Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, energetic, and comfortable talking with people Dependable and punctual Organized and able to multitask Comfortable being hands-on with patients Interested in chiropractic, rehabilitation, fitness, or healthcare Willing to learn exercise and soft tissue techniques Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with patients Comfortable helping with marketing and community events Able to take initiative without constant supervision Coachable and open to feedback Professional and confident representing the practice in the community Interested in growing into a larger role over time Experience in chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, personal training, fitness, healthcare, customer service, sales, or medical offices is a plus, but not required . Compensation & Growth Starting compensation is $20-$25 per hour , depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities. There will also be opportunities to earn additional compensation through performance and commission-based bonuses . As the practice grows, strong performers may have opportunities for: Pay raises Additional hours Performance bonuses Commission opportunities Expanded patient-care responsibilities Marketing and outreach responsibilities Leadership positions Promotion into a senior Chiropractic Assistant or office management position We are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to become increasingly valuable to the practice and be rewarded as their responsibilities grow. Schedule Approximately 3-5 days per week . The exact schedule can be discussed during the interview, with the potential for additional hours as the position and practice grow.
