In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the dental practice, ensuring seamless communication, education, and coordination of treatment plans. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient management, and administrative support will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the clinical team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your dental knowledge and administrative skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment committed to excellence. Duties Act as the main point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, scheduling, and financial arrangements Educate patients on their dental health options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster informed decision-making Coordinate with dentists and hygienists to ensure timely and efficient delivery of treatments Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and communicate coverage details clearly to patients Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and treatment sequences while maintaining an organized calendar Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and empathy Maintain knowledge of health regulation policies to ensure compliance with all legal standards and safety protocols Support administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office setting, preferably within a dental practice or healthcare environment Strong understanding of dental procedures, medical terminology, and health insurance policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Medical Administrative Support practices Experience with Medical Office Software including EMR/EHR systems and Patient Management Software Excellent communication skills for effective phone and client interactions Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance) Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage electronic health records accurately and securely Typing speed and accuracy to support documentation needs Join us in making a difference by helping patients achieve healthier smiles!
