Job Summary We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Patient Services and Quality Coordinator to manage front-desk responsibilities and support administrative quality assurance. This position involves assisting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring files for completeness and timely processing. Your addition will help streamline documentation workflows, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care. Duties Welcome and check patients in and out. Answer telephone calls and respond to routine patient inquiries. Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments. Provide and collect Intake forms, consent documents and rating scales. Verify insurance benefits and authorization as assigned. Collect copayments and document transactions. Scan, upload, label, and organize patient records. Monitor assessment files for required documents and timely completion. Maintain case-tracking and quality assurance log. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance of all written materials. Escalate overdue cases and document concerns, and clinical discrepancies to appropriate supervisor. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinical policies. Requirements College education preferred. Bachelor's degree in English, Health and Social Sciences preferred. Prior Medical, Behavioral-Health or Professional front desk experience. Strong organizational , communication and computer skills. Excellent attention to details and ability to meet deadlines. Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with Providers. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to strict deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Experience with scheduling, electronic records, insurance verification and file auditing. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards is highly desirable.
