Job Description

Inpatient Nurse Manager (MedSurg & Telemetry) -
Full Time/Exempt Position Summary:
The Inpatient Clinical Nurse Manager is a key member of a multidisciplinary team that ensures standards of nursing adhered to at the unit level. Clinical leadership for patient care practices and delivery, including the design, coordination, and evaluation of care for individuals, families, and population. Participation in identification and collection of patient care outcomes along with design, education, and implementation of best practice(s). The Clinical Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Acute Care Services to ensure that commissioning, recruitment, onboarding, orientation and service activation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the guidelines, mission and vision of the organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
Education:
Minimum of BSN required; MSN preferred.
Experience:
Must be a trained Registered Nurse with a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible clinical experience, with at least 2 years experience in a supervisory role (charge nurse or similar) iin a Inpatient care unit. Participated in identification and collection of patient care outcomes. Will have designed and implemented evidence-based practice(s) Licenses and/or
Certifications:
Current, valid, California RN license current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
BLS & ACLS
certification.
