Paramedic - IV Therapy & Clinical Support Whole Health | Lakewood Ranch, FL Whole Health is seeking a skilled, personable Paramedic to join our physician-led primary care and integrative medicine practice. This office-based role focuses on IV therapy and patient triage , while supporting our physicians and helping create a welcoming, attentive patient experience. Our ideal candidate combines strong clinical skills with a calm, caring manner, attention to detail, and a willingness to help wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Initiate IV access, administer physician-ordered IV therapies, and monitor patients throughout treatment. Support patient triage in person and by telephone, following established protocols and promptly communicating concerns to physicians. Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, medications, and patient concerns. Administer physician-ordered injections. Prepare patient charts before appointments, including reviewing available records and identifying missing labs or other information. Help patients with physician-recommended nutritional supplements, including product information and purchases. Draw blood and prepare, label, and process laboratory specimens as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, clean treatment areas, and organized clinical supplies. Answer phones and assist with scheduling, check-in, and check-out as needed. Clinical duties are performed under physician direction, consistent with applicable scope of practice, training, and office protocols. Qualifications Current Florida paramedic certification. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong IV placement skills and experience administering and monitoring IV therapies. Sound clinical judgment and the ability to recognize and escalate changes in a patient's condition. Excellent communication, organization, and patient-service skills. Comfort using electronic medical records and learning office workflows. A dependable, flexible approach and willingness to support both clinical and administrative needs. Phlebotomy, outpatient practice, and prior authorization experience preferred. Why Whole Health?
