Job Overview New Smyrna Beach Physical Therapy is searching for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing private practice! At NSBPT, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals who share a common goal: to provide the highest quality of care to the members of our community. Responsibilities Greet patients and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify patient benefits Answer and return phone calls, to include scheduling of new and returning patients Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA Collect and post patient and insurance payments Assist with light laundry, cleaning and re-stocking duties Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with clearly communication via phone and in-person Computer proficiency to allow for use of web-based EHR program Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
