Starting pay based on experience! We are looking for a dedicated Surgery Coordinator for our rapidly growing practice!

Florida Eye Specialists is a top provider in eye care for the greater Jacksonville area and is the preferred provider for the Jacksonville Jaguars! There are several locations in and around Jacksonville and we are growing every day! The physicians and staff of Florida Eye Specialists are united by a common passion for excellence in eye care. All our doctors have dedicated numerous years of medical school, residency, fellowship and post-fellowship training to eye disease research and education.
Job Summary:
The Surgery Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients considering oculoplastic procedures. This role combines patient education with consultative sales, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions. The counselor will guide patients through treatment options, provide transparent information on procedures and pricing, and help coordinate their journey from initial consultation to post-procedure follow-up. Due to the nature of the business, this position will be required to travel to multiple locations, based on clinical needs.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Prior experience in healthcare counseling, aesthetics, cosmetic surgery sales, or a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in simple terms. Sales or customer service background with a proven record of achieving or exceeding goals. Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach. High level of organization and attention to detail. Proficiency in using CRM, EMR, or lead-tracking systems is an advantage.

Patient-focused with excellent listening and counseling skills. Confidence in discussing treatment plans, pricing, and financing options. Goal-oriented and motivated by sales targets while maintaining integrity. Team-player who can collaborate effectively with medical staff, surgery centers, marketing, and administration. Empathetic, approachable, and trustworthy.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Healthcare experience preferred
