Full-Time | Field-Based | Stuart, Florida | $115,000-$120,000 Annual Salary Join Us as a Director of Nursing & Home Health Administrator (Home Infusion)! Are you an experienced nursing leader who enjoys staying connected to patient care? We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to lead clinical operations while providing hands-on home infusion services throughout the Stuart, Florida area. In this unique dual-role position, you'll oversee home health agency operations, guide nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and directly impact patient outcomes through high-quality infusion care.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Director of Nursing & Home Health Administrator , you will: Deliver home infusion nursing care in patient homes and the Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS), including start-of-care, infusion, follow-up, laboratory, and vascular access visits. Administer specialty and acute infusion therapies while monitoring patient progress and responding to clinical concerns. Educate patients and caregivers on medications, equipment, infusion procedures, and safety protocols. Lead daily clinical and operational activities for the Home Health Agency as the designated Administrator and Director of Nursing. Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff and contracted clinicians. Coordinate staffing and patient assignments to ensure appropriate clinical coverage and continuity of care. Serve as a clinical resource and support complex patient care situations across the organization. Conduct chart audits, supervisory visits, and documentation reviews to maintain quality standards. Drive compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and company requirements while supporting regulatory surveys and quality initiatives. Partner with pharmacy leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Current, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CRNI certification preferred. Eligibility to serve as both the Administrator and Director of Nursing for a Florida Home Health Agency. 5+ years of professional nursing experience. 3+ years of infusion therapy, home health, specialty pharmacy, ambulatory infusion, or related clinical experience. Previous nursing leadership, management, healthcare administration, or Director-level experience. Strong knowledge of infusion therapy, vascular access, medication administration, and patient assessment. Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, maintain compliance, and make sound clinical decisions. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to spend approximately 85% of working time in direct patient care.
