Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their experience with our medical office. The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and assisting with administrative tasks to enhance patient satisfaction. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Provide information to patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and insurance coverage. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery. Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain a clean and organized office environment to enhance patient experience. Assist in the billing processes and insurance claims as needed. Requirements Previous experience in an office setting, preferably within a dental or medical office environment preferred, but will train the right person. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with a compassionate approach. Proficiency in administrative support tasks, including scheduling, record keeping, and managing correspondence. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
