Patient Care Coordinator / Spravato Technician Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health - Center for ADHD Trinity / New Port Richey, Florida Full-Time Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Patient Care Coordinator / Spravato Technician to join our team. Journey is a rapidly growing, innovative behavioral health practice providing psychiatry, therapy, ADHD-focused care, Spravato treatment, metabolic and wellness services, and other advanced treatment options. This position will play an important role in both the patient experience and the daily operation of our Spravato treatment program . What You'll Do Patient Care Coordination Welcome patients and help create a warm, professional, and supportive experience from the moment they arrive. Assist patients with scheduling, follow-up appointments, paperwork, and coordination of care. Communicate with patients by phone, text, and electronic systems regarding appointments and treatment needs. Work closely with psychiatric providers, therapists, clinical leadership, and administrative staff. Help identify and resolve patient concerns before they become larger problems. Maintain accurate patient information and documentation within the electronic health record. Support front-office and patient-care operations as needed. Spravato Treatment Support Prepare treatment rooms for Spravato patients. Welcome and orient patients before treatment. Obtain and document vital signs according to established protocols. Assist clinical staff with the flow of Spravato treatment appointments. Help monitor patients throughout their scheduled treatment period under clinical protocols and provider supervision. Maintain a calm, comfortable, therapeutic treatment environment. Coordinate treatment schedules and ensure patients progress efficiently through the Spravato program. Maintain treatment-room supplies and identify inventory needs. Follow established safety, documentation, infection-control, and emergency-response procedures. Communicate changes or patient concerns promptly to the appropriate licensed clinical provider. Clinical assessment, medication administration decisions, and medical decision-making remain the responsibility of appropriately licensed clinical staff. You may be a great fit if you are: Warm, compassionate, and comfortable interacting with individuals receiving mental health treatment. Extremely dependable and punctual. Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities at once. Calm and confident when patients are anxious or emotional. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player. Proactive—you see what needs to be done and take initiative. Professional with confidential and sensitive information. Comfortable learning new technology, medical terminology, and clinical workflows. Able to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals. Preferred Experience Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatry, medical assisting, patient care coordination, or a similar patient-facing environment is preferred. Experience with Spravato or ketamine treatment is not required . We can train the right person. Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, behavioral health technician, or other healthcare experience can be an advantage. What Matters at Journey We take our culture seriously.
