Job Description

Our part-time Patient Care Coordinator ( PCC ) supports the clinic by creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient while keeping daily administrative operations running efficiently. This is a part-time, patient-facing role responsible for scheduling, data entry, paperwork processing, phone support, and basic office coordination. Essential Duties Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and on the phone Answer questions quickly and accurately, or route issues to the appropriate team member Schedule patient appointments efficiently to support provider flow and patient satisfaction Notify providers of patient arrivals and assist with patient flow as needed Comfort patients by anticipating needs and answering questions clearly and kindly Retrieve, update, and maintain accurate patient records and documentation Verify financial information and collect patient charges as needed Maintain office inventory by anticipating supply needs and coordinating supply orders Keep the waiting area and front desk neat, organized, and professional Job Requirements Professional, patient-friendly demeanor and comfort working with the public Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and strong follow-through Basic office skills (typing, filing, data entry, paperwork processing) Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and web-based tools Knowledge of the healthcare/medical office environment preferred Employment contingent upon clear fingerprint and criminal history record Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of medical office experience required Working Conditions This role operates in a professional medical office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary role. May require occasional lifting of office products and supplies up to 20 pounds, bending/stooping, and opening filing cabinets.

Visual acuity adequate for reading printed materials and computer screens

Adequate for in-person and telephone communication
Speaking:
Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone Position Type /
Expected Hours of Work Part-time Friday:
8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday:
