Job Description
Patient Experience Coordinator Parkside Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Ellijay is seeking a reliable, friendly, and service-oriented Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Experience Coordinator serves as a liaison between residents, families, and team members. This role focuses on resident satisfaction, communication, and customer service throughout each resident's stay. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, organized, and enjoys working with seniors and individuals with disabilities. Weekly Pay! Responsibilities Serve as an advocate and point of contact for residents and their families Collaborate with nursing and other departments to ensure residents' needs are addressed promptly Inspect rooms before admission to ensure they are clean, prepared, and welcoming Welcome new residents upon arrival and escort them to their rooms Contact family members to confirm that the resident has arrived and is settling in Introduce yourself to new residents and families and explain how you can assist them Conduct resident and family satisfaction surveys and share feedback with leadership Respond promptly and professionally to call bells by notifying the appropriate care team member Follow up with residents and families regarding requests, concerns, or anticipated delays Answer telephone calls, take accurate messages, and direct questions to the appropriate department Report concerns or unresolved issues to the unit supervisor or administration Promote positive teamwork across all departments Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications At least two years of front-desk, hospitality, concierge, or customer-service experience preferred Experience in a nursing home, senior living community, or healthcare setting is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly, patient, professional, and confident demeanor Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Ability to resolve concerns with a resident-focused approach Proficiency in English required; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus Dependable and able to work every other weekend Join the award-winning team at Parkside Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Ellijay and help us create a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience for every resident and family.
