In person Position Summary We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance / Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general facility maintenance and be comfortable handling a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, equipment repairs, and general building maintenance. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs, and other facility-related tasks. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, facilities, equipment, and property to identify maintenance needs or potential problems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants. Install, repair, replace, and maintain fixtures, appliances, equipment, and other property components. Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs. Use hand and power tools safely and properly. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable safety requirements and building codes. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair work. Communicate major maintenance issues or recommended repairs to management. Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and unexpected repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, handyman, or a similar position preferred. Strong knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance and equipment problems. Proficiency with common hand and power tools. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, instructions, and basic blueprints. Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Familiarity with logic controllers or similar equipment is desirable. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and complete work efficiently. Prior experience supervising or leading a maintenance team is a plus. Must have a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Work Schedule 8-hour shifts On-call availability required Weekends as needed Schedule may vary based on property and maintenance needs Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Work Environment This is an in-person position requiring hands-on maintenance work throughout the property.
