Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general direction of the Director of Medicare Certified Services, the Rehab Clinical Manager has oversight over all services in the Medicare Certified Division and oversees and coordinates rehabilitation clinical services. The Rehab Clinical Manager works collaboratively with the Nursing Clinical Manager to ensure the patient receives coordinated, patient-centered care.

Sitting, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
Constant:
reaching above, at and below shoulders; repetitive arm/hand motion and frequent gripping of objects.
Frequent:
standing, walking, stooping/bending, and twisting body.
Occasional:
lifting and carrying usual weight up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds of force.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasionally subjected to blood borne pathogens. Not subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Language Pathology; OR Doctorates degree in Physical Therapy or healthcare or business-related field. Current Hawaii State license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist. Valid U.S driver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance as required by Hawaii State Law. Driver's abstract or evidence of good driving record. Current BLS certification.
B. EXPERIENCE
One (1) year Home Health Therapist or one (1) year management experience, preferable in a comparable institution One (1) year supervisory/leadership experience. Knowledge of discipline-specific therapy theory and practice in their field to treat patients. Knowledge and use of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients co-workers, and the public.
