Hawaii Cancer Care Hiring Range:
$18.22 - $25.18 Position Summary Assigns new patients and hospital consultations to designated physicians. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Education High School diploma or GED is required Previous Experience Ability to communicate effectively with physicians. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment at a level generally acquired through related experience. Licenses/Certifications Valid Driver's license in state of residency for travel to clinics is required.Core Capabilities Analysis & Critical Thinking:

Good command of the English language. Second language is an asset but not required. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.Customer Service & Organizational Awareness:
Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.Self-Management:
Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.Standard Core Workdays/Hours:
