Clinical Manager - SLP / OT / PT Maui Speech and Swallow and Neurological Rehabilitation, LLC Full-Time | 25-75% Clinical Productivity About Us Maui Speech and Swallow and Neurological Rehabilitation, LLC is a private outpatient practice serving pediatric and adult clients across Maui. We provide speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and (expanding) physical therapy services, with specialized programs in FEES, feeding/swallow, dysphagia, neurorehab, ergonomics/work rehab, and low vision rehab. We're looking to add on physical therapy services to offer orthopedic and manual therapy and geriatric PT and fall prevention. Position Summary The Clinical Manager provides both direct patient care and clinical leadership across our multidisciplinary team (SLP, OT, and PT). This role carries an active caseload at 50-75% productivity, with the remaining time dedicated to supervising clinical staff, overseeing quality and compliance, and supporting day-to-day clinical operations. It's a strong fit for a clinician who wants to stay hands-on with patients while helping shape and grow the practice. There is a strong potential for the Clinical Manager position to carry an active caseload at 25% in the next year to accommodate the growth of clinicians. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Maintain a direct patient caseload (pediatric or adult) within your discipline, consistent with the position's productivity target Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in accordance with

ASHA/AOTA/APTA

standards and the ICF framework Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and materials supporting prior authorizations and medical necessity Clinical Leadership & Operations Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff across SLP, OT, and PT disciplines Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communication across the treatment team Monitor clinical productivity, caseload distribution, and scheduling across the team Support onboarding and training of new clinicians, including competency development in specialty areas Participate in quality assurance, chart audits, and documentation compliance reviews Assist with performance reviews and staff development planning Partner with the Owner/Clinical Director on practice growth initiatives, including new service lines and locations Serve as a clinical point of contact for complex cases and payer/insurance documentation needs Qualifications Active Hawaii license in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy (or eligible for licensure) Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience; prior supervisory, mentorship, or leadership experience preferred Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with insurance authorization and medical necessity requirements Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult populations Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to balance direct patient care with administrative responsibilities Preferred Experience with Hawaii payers (HMSA, AlohaCare, UHA, Kaiser, 'Ohana, Med-QUEST) Experience in a private practice or multidisciplinary clinical setting Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
