Clinical Director (Treatment Supervisor) | Dubuque, IA About Bridgewater Recovery Bridgewater Recovery is a behavioral health organization developing a substance use treatment program focused on expanding access to high-quality IOP, PHP, detox, and residential treatment services in Dubuque, Iowa. The program is being built to serve individuals who need a higher level of care, with a focus on clinical quality, operational discipline, strong culture, and long-term sustainability. The Opportunity Bridgewater Recovery is seeking an experienced Clinical Director (Treatment Supervisor) to serve as the senior clinical leader for its Dubuque, Iowa facility. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and overseeing clinical programming, supervision, and quality of care across IOP, PHP, detox, and residential levels of care, from pre-opening through ongoing operations. What You'll Do Help design and stand up clinical programming across IOP, PHP, detox, and residential treatment Develop clinical policies, treatment protocols, and documentation standards ahead of facility opening Support licensure readiness and clinical survey preparation Provide clinical supervision to therapists, counselors, and clinical staff Recruit, onboard, and lead the clinical team, building a culture of accountability, professionalism, and compassionate care Provide coaching and support to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices Ensure clinical operations comply with applicable state, federal, payer, and accreditation requirements Maintain survey readiness and support licensing, audits, inspections, and quality reviews Monitor clinical outcomes and quality indicators, recommending improvements as needed Partner with the Executive Director on operational and staffing decisions affecting clinical care Coordinate with the Medical Director and nursing leadership on integrated treatment planning Requirements What You Bring Independent clinical licensure as LISW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist, APRN, or Physician Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Nursing, or a related field 5+ years of clinical experience 3+ years of clinical supervision experience
