Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations Verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure timely care delivery Prepare and organize patient charts, documentation, and medical records for appointments Follow up with patients regarding test results, treatment plans, or appointment reminders Support medical staff with administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance claims processing Maintain a clean, organized front office environment and ensure compliance with health privacy regulations Skills Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance companies Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks including scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), and billing systems Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and multitasking ability Familiarity with dental office procedures is a plus but not required Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to quality patient care while developing their expertise in healthcare administration.
