Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a full-time candidate in our Hayden clinic to perform a number of duties including greeting and scheduling patients, answering and routing calls, data entry and insurance verifications. This position requires a significant amount of multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately. A team mentality with a willingness to help wherever needed is a must, as well as being highly reliable. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to navigate multi-line phone system. Accurate data entry skill set. Cash handling experience. Intricate understanding of provider and patient scheduling. Insurance verification and assistance with information regarding referrals. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, (EHR a plus). Self-motivated with a team attitude. Detail orientated. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Welcoming personality and ability to obtain information from patients efficiently and accurately. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance. Responsibilities and Duties Answer multi-line phones, either directing calls or handling caller's needs. Greet patients upon arrival and complete appropriate documents while obtaining insurance information Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents Data-entry into EHR Process payments from patients for copay, co-insurance and un-insured visits Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on availability Verification of insurance and the ability to communicate with patients this information Ability to create a new medical record and assist with file organization Handling of standard opening and closing procedures Flexibility to be used wherever needed Proper handling of protected health information Qualifications and Skills Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
