Job Description
Clinic Office Manager Job Summary The Clinic Office Manager is a part of the NUHS Clinic Operations team and liaison to the Financial Services Department. This position is responsible for ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in the business operations of our integrative healthcare clinic locations in Illinois and Florida providing chiropractic, naturopathic, and acupuncture services. Responsibilities Supervise all day-to-day administrative duties of all departments Supervise all administrative staff at all sites including hiring, training, and assisting with their duties when needed Ensure clinic compliance with all healthcare insurance regulations, HIPAA and patient records laws, credentialing, labor laws, and internal policies Point of contact for patient's account inquiries, discussions, and clinic staffing issues Maintain the administrative and billing functionality of the EHR system Manage insurance claim billing and coding, and patient billing Ensure the internal quality assurance standards Provide necessary reporting to all requestors Other duties as assigned Qualifications BS in Healthcare or Business Administration Minimum 2 years in a Healthcare supervisory role including experience in: claim billing & coding, insurance credentialing, and medical records fulfillment Proficiency in electronic medical records systems Command of medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to find solutions to difficult challenges
