CLINICAL TRAINING COORDINATOR

McDonough District Hospital

• ACO Macomb , IL Nursing Full-Time Hourly , Days , M-F, 8a-5p Posted 10/08/2026 Req # 2259 Expected pay for this position is $21.50-$44.80. Actual pay will be determined by licensure (LPN or RN), experience, skills and internal equity.

Medical, Dental, Vision 457B and employer match for FT Employees Company paid STD and LTD Job Summary This position is responsible for creating, designing, implementing, and continually improving orientation and training programs for medical assistants, nurses and allied health clinicians. This role collaborates with office staff and practice directors to identify quality and process improvement opportunities and to design and execute targeted initiatives. Job Specifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A graduate from a School of Registered Nursing and currently licensed as a RN or LPN in the state of Illinois and/or certification related to clinical speciality. Required to have a current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

Must have knowledge of the following: techniques and strategies for conducting educational program needs assessment; quality improvement principles; and adult learning theories and techniques.

ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND TEMPERAMENTS

Must have the ability to research course development, delivery concepts and technical clinical issues. Must have the ability to present programs effectively to other clinicians. Must have the ability to teach others to present the programs proficiently. Must have the ability to interact with a variety of clinicians in user-friendly manner. Must have the ability to solve problems and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must have the ability to competently use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, appropriate electronic health record software. Have skills in project management. Have skills in conducting training and making group presentations. Have skills in group facilitation, group dynamics and team building. Have skills in problem solving and analysis.
