In this role, you will serve as the backbone of daily operations, ensuring smooth clinic workflows, accurate record management, and exceptional patient service. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies. Duties Manage patient appointments through efficient scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Greet patients warmly at the front desk, answer phone calls with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service to foster a positive experience. Verify patient insurance coverage, process medical collections, and handle billing procedures utilizing health insurance knowledge and medical billing expertise. Review and update medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) confidentiality policies. Assist with clinical documentation review, and care plan documentation to support accurate billing and recordkeeping. Maintain office supplies inventory, manage correspondence, and perform clerical tasks such as data entry with high typing accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Support clinical staff by coordinating scheduling, managing electronic records, and ensuring seamless administrative operations. Skills Extensive experience with dental administrative support. Proficiency in Dentrix and Denxis; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential. Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are highly valued—and exceptional phone etiquette for patient interactions. Demonstrated ability to review clinical documentation accurately while adhering to confidentiality policies and clinical confidentiality standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and general computer literacy for efficient data entry and recordkeeping. Proven experience in front desk operations, patient service excellence, dental office management, and health information management.
