Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment services in a residential setting. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for our multidisciplinary team. Your leadership will drive innovative treatment approaches, promote best practices, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, behavioral therapists, social workers, and support staff to promote professional growth and excellence in patient care Oversee clinical program development, ensuring services such as individual and group counseling, family therapy, and crisis intervention meet organizational standards and client needs Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning utilizing evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling Manage intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough documentation and appropriate placement within services Lead case management efforts for clients with complex needs, including those with co-occurring disorders Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems Facilitate clinical team meetings to review cases, discuss treatment strategies, and support crisis management initiatives Collaborate with families, hospitals, and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive care plans tailored to diverse cultural backgrounds Maintain high standards of patient care through continuous quality improvement initiatives and data collection for research purposes Skills Extensive experience working with adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions Proficiency in behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Strong background in crisis management, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care Proven leadership skills in clinical supervision and team management within behavioral health or mental health settings Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), HIPAA compliance, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems Exceptional client communication skills with experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding standards; experience working with individuals with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable Skilled in case management strategies for individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions Experience in residential, hospital, or outpatient behavioral health environments is preferred Join us as a Clinical Director to lead compassionate care initiatives that transform lives!
