Position Summary:

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing clinical experiences for students enrolled in our programs. This includes collaborating with providers in various fields (primarily healthcare), managing placement schedules, and ensuring that students receive valuable, practical training that aligns with the educational objectives of Unitech Training Academy. 1.

Clinical Placement Management:

• Collaborate with healthcare facilities to secure appropriate clinical placements for students.
• Coordinate and manage student schedules, ensuring they meet program requirements.
• Maintain a database of approved clinical sites and regularly assess their suitability.

Partnership Development:

• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers to secure a variety of clinical experiences for students.
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand and strengthen partnerships.

Compliance and Accreditation:

• Ensure clinical experiences align with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to maintain compliance with industry guidelines.

4.

Student Support:

• Provide guidance and support to students during the clinical placement process.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by students, preceptors, or clinical site personnel.

Orientation and Training:

• Conduct orientation sessions for students entering clinical placements, outlining expectations and procedures.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure students are adequately prepared for their clinical experiences.

Evaluation and Assessment:

• Implement evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of clinical experiences.
• Collect feedback from students, preceptors, and clinical site personnel to identify areas for improvement.

7.

Problem Resolution:

• Address any challenges or conflicts that may arise during clinical placements, working to find effective and timely solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between students, clinical sites, and Unitech Training Academy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Previous experience in a clinical coordination role within an educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare partners.
• Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in clinical education.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
