We are looking for someone who has good common sense, communicates well, is dependable, and is willing to learn . Prior medical-office experience is helpful, but experience is not required for the right person . We value someone who is organized, takes initiative, treats patients with kindness and respect, and can handle a variety of responsibilities in a busy office. Responsibilities Room patients and assist with the patient intake process Obtain and document patient information accurately Gather insurance information and assist with insurance verification Assist with prior authorizations Communicate with patients in person and by phone Answer phones and assist with scheduling and general office tasks Maintain accurate patient records Assist the doctor and office with day-to-day clinical and administrative needs Help keep the office organized and running smoothly Provide a friendly and professional experience for our patients What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Energetic and positive attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good common sense and ability to think independently Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking Friendly and professional with patients Willingness to learn new responsibilities Previous medical-office or Medical Assistant experience is a plus, but not required Knowledge of Athena EHR is a plus Why Join Us?
