Educator HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Professional Practice Coordinator for a 200+ Bed-size hospital in MA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support Magnet and Pathway to Excellence initiatives, including organizational readiness and preparation Assess and support compliance with ANCC Magnet/Pathway requirements and readiness activities Develop, strengthen, and facilitate shared governance structures and nursing councils Advance nursing professional practice standards and initiatives across the organization Lead and support evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives and integration into nursing practice Mentor, coach, and provide professional development support to nursing leaders Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote professional nursing practice

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience:

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Magnet and/or Pathway to Excellence, ANCC requirements/readiness, shared governance, nursing professional practice, and evidence-based practice

Leadership Experience:

Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing nursing leaders

Clinical Experience:

Strong acute care nursing background with progressive nursing leadership experience

License:

Active RN license

Certifications:

Relevant nursing leadership, professional practice, Magnet, or nursing excellence certifications preferred

Computer Skills:
